Our Staff

Melanie Klover

House Owner

My family, husband and two children, live in Shawnee, Kansas. Nine years ago we moved back home to Kansas from Spokane, Washington. I am the oldest of six children and now enjoy living in the near vicinity of my parents and siblings. I strongly believe in and value family commitment. Because of my strong family commitment I want to provide a family living environment for seniors.

I have been an Occupational Therapist for 23 years. As an Occupational Therapist, I have specialized in helping people deal with the effects of illness and injury on their ability to manage daily life. By looking at a person holistically, I adapt and individualize environments so that it allows my client to function at his/her highest level of Independence. I have worked in the arena of senior care in a variety of setting including rehab, skilled nursing, and home health. I have spent the past 12 years working in home health where I have had the chance to come to understand seniors need for optimal performance in a home environment.

Over my career I have gained a passion for caring for seniors and have extensive knowledge of principals of aging in place, Alzheimers and dementia care, and an understanding of the benefits of a therapeutic environment.

Laura Garrison

House Chef

I have been married for 25 years and have five kids. Cooking has always been my passion. I had a small catering company out of my home for six years and worked as a baker at a pie shop for 5 years before coming to Clover Care in November 2015.

I get great joy here at Clover Care every day, making comforting , home cooked meals from scratch for the residents. It always brightens my day when they thank me and tell me what nice meals I make for them.

Testimonials

The care our mom has received at Clover Care has been nothing short of exceptional. The country setting helps to add to the inviting atmosphere in which our mom has thrived. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Clover Care has made a difficult situation seem like a natural transition in life. We would recommend it to anyone looking for long term care of a loved one.
